Although we suggest our guests to keep a minimum of 3 days for Havelock to get the best experience but yes, one can return on the same day. The first ferry from Port Blair to Havelock island leaves at 9:00 am and reaches the destination at 10:30 am, then the last ferry leaves at 3:00 pm in the afternoon.
Yes, although we suggest you pre book, there are options where you can book as soon as you arrive in Port Blair. The last ferry leaves at 02:00 pm from Port Blair to Havelock, if your arrival is before the last ferry leaves, then you can book your tickets.
If you are travelling to Andaman islands for the first time and if you wish to cover all of the major sightseeing tourist places, we recommend you to spend at least 5 days excluding the first and last days of travelling.
